About Us

I used to reign as the only female member of high testosterone family, my husband, three boys and 90lb German Shepherd.  That changed about a year ago with the birth of our first baby girl. Now our family is complete, not because she was a girl but because she is our forth beautiful gift from God.

We currently live the middle of the city but hope someday to own an Alpaca farm, or at least a lot of land in the middle of no where.

I have been married to my incredible husband for nearly 17 years.  He is my soul-mate, the love of my life.  He's a road cyclist by passion and a software engineer by necessity.  He's sort-of like Sean Connery in that he gets more handsome with age.

I retired from my career as a Corporate Controller, two weeks before the birth of my first son Lance.  We had quite a learning/adapting curve that first year but I never regret retiring.  Lance is now nine.  He is my empath.  We joke that if we put him in public school they'd have the script for Ritalin written out before he bounced to his first class.  He may appear like "Tigger" to others but to us he's just all boy.  He loves sports, cub scouts, anything that keeps him moving.  However, he's not not just a "jock", he is very sensitive, excels at school and has the most beautiful handwriting.

My second son is Jared and he's seven.  He is our gift.  A true thespian in the making, I'm sure he will someday wow the audiences on some big stage.  There was a time I had to ask who he was, since I wasn't sure who had just walked into the room, he had so many different acts running at once.  He's a bit more sedate than Lance but only a bit, he loves art in any form I can manage to find it.  He too excels at school and is a great big brother.
Titus is three.  He has his own theme song "We are the Titus...the mighty, mighty, Titus!".  He does whatever it takes to keep up with his two big brothers, developmental milestones be darned.  He is our joy.  Seldom do you see him not smiling.  And he always has quite a bit to say about everything, in a rather grown-up way.

Amber will be a year in October.  She isn't going to be left behind by her brothers and appears to be growing up quicker than any of them.  She sounds like a cross between a duck and pterodactyl currently, but I'm sure she'll be talking soon just like her brother Titus (if those teeth ever come in).  Her brothers adore her and she them, she finishes our family perfectly.
