August 2023

Though two of my kids have technically graduated we are still a homeschooling house, so that means a passion for learning will always be apart of who we are as a family.  In that vein we have started up (again) Sunday night Art (I'm holding Chris' drawing - he's taking the photo).

Now that swim team is over Titus has put his focus on Tennis.  The tennis courts were always included in our pool membership we just never used them till now.  The best part is the ball machine that makes practicing rather fun.

Jared created a Lego Hospital for LEGO Ideas submission.  To help him get votes Mrs. L told the dance community and it was great to see all their support.  You can see the detailed interior with this fun speed build video.

Amber got on a cat toy making kick that was very stimulating to the cats, especially Hunter.

The highlight of the month for Amber was competing for the first time in a horse contest.  She competed as a Hunter on her favorite horse Eddy.  It was a great experience, they even managed to place 4th (out of 16). So glad she tried Hunters once so when she switches to Jumpers she can do so as an informed participant.

The boys finished off the month with their annual trip to VIR (Here they are with Roxy).  They all had an awesome day watching all the exciting races; while Amber and I had a quite day watching girl flicks.
