My Husband

It seems appropriate that today is his 44th Birthday (oops!  Should I have told his age?).  Its a year of symmetry, and Chris has always brought symmetry to my life.  He compliments and balances me and I him.  We are truly two who have become one.  

Tomorrow marks the 18th anniversary of our first date.  In some ways it seems a life time ago and in others only a short time has past.  We have both changed so much, thankfully I think the changes have been for the better.  

Chris is such an attentive and involved father.  He always was good with kids, so I suppose this is no surprise but it is a great blessing to us all.  He truly has an interest in the concerns and interests of his children and his wife (though he teases me a bit more about my wacky ones LOL).  

He has embraced his role as leader of our home, much to all our comfort.

Above all Chris loves.  He loves God first, then each of us with an intensity that is hard to explain but wonderful to feel.
