Charlotte Chaplin

She started walking a bit at eight months and its no big surprise to us she is walking rather well at nine months.  When she walks, she waddles side to side with her hands up and to the side, thus why Chris calls her Charlotte Chaplin.
At nine months she weighed in at 21.8 lbs. Since she is pushing the weight limit on her infant car seat, we moved her to a rear facing car seat fit for a toddler and bought a new umbrella stroller for leaving in the car.

She is obsessed with the refrigerator and freezer and is extremely proud whenever she can procure something from it.  Sometimes I leave her teether somewhere she can reach. The frozen bagel she managed to remove from the bag all by herself. I let her keep her prize to gnaw on for a bit.
When the refrigerator door is closed she keeps up the Otto tradition of rummaging everywhere else.  She is fully capable of opening any cabinet door without using the handle.  It's a good thing we never really un-childproofed the house after Titus.  She walked around with this prize from the pantry on and off for a couple days, thankfully the lid held the contents in check or Sarge would have had a nice snack.
As you can see from the different facial expressions, she has developed quite the personality.  She calls "mama" and "bro" as wanted.  When Chris comes home from work, he has his rather large backpack, bottle and is sometimes soaking wet from his ride. The boys will give him is space for a bit, but Amber will make a beeline for him. When he walks past her to put his stuff down, she pitches quite the fit.  She is definitely "Daddy's Girl" but the boys were "Daddy's Boys" so it makes sense.
Watch out world!  This young lady is going to be a force to be reckoned with!
